Paddy grew up rural in a huge old farmhouse surrounded by a steady stream of friends, family, stories and songs.

His mother would spend time in the parlor, rocking in her chair to the old bluegrass and old time music programs on the families radio with a very young Paddy just around the corner, taking in every bit of it. Though influenced by everything from metal to punk, and world to rockabilly Paddy truly found his calling in his teens when he first picked up a bodhran...and didn't put it down.

Paddy's bottom line has been the heartbeat of cliudan since those first house sessions and kitchen parties on King Street.
